At Fandemonium we have always been a big supporter of independent films, especially "Fan Films". A fan film is a film or video inspired by a film, television program, comic book or a similar source, created by fans rather than by the source's copyright holders or creators. Fan film makers have traditionally been amateurs, but some of the more notable films have actually been produced by professional filmmakers as film school class projects or as demonstration reels. Fan films vary tremendously in length, from short faux-teaser trailers for non-existent motion pictures to rarer full-length motion pictures.

We except Independent and Fan Film submissions for screening at Fandemonium for any of the genres that Fandemonium covers. Such as but not limited to; Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Animation, Video Gaming, Tabletop Gaming, Horror, Comic Books, LARP'ing, Medieval Renaissance, Fandom itself, etc. If your film falls on a topic not listed and your unsure if it would be acceptable for screening at Fandemonium just contact us and we will be happy to tell you.
